I am a media artist, and I use video as a tool for observation. I try to depict and understand natural phenomena and their relationship to man through my videos. Technology allows me to observe, study and take a closer look at other animals and creatures in my surroundings. My attempt to simulate how we experience nature using advanced technical tools, videos, electronics and computer animations illustrates the contradiction between the longing for primordial nature and living in a technological society.  

Besides exhibiting my work at museums and galleries, I have performed as part of the Vixen VJ's collective and as a video designer in theaters and the field of contemporary dance. 

I graduated from the Tampere Applied Sciences Visual Arts program (Fine Arts BA) in 2008 and from Aalto University School of Art and Design, Media Laboratory(Master of Arts) in2013.
